'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial significant achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
